About Us

Our Ambition & Vision:

In May 2023 Thurles and Roscrea Credit Union completed their merger which they were working on for several years.

The new entity has over €170 million in assets, a membership of over 30,000 people and reserves of almost €30 million.

On December 8th, 2023, Premier Credit Union was launched.

The new name represents the new credit union’s unwavering commitment to providing excellent service, great products, progressive thinking, and a conviction to put members at the heart of everything we do.

A lot of work went into the new brand identity which for Premier Credit Union represents inclusivity and the long-term connection the credit union has with the communities we are located in, Thurles, Roscrea, Killenaule, and Urlingford. The green in the icon represents our commitment to a sustainable, environmentally friendly future.

Our ambition and vision are clear,

"To be the preferred and premier financial institution for our members, offering a broad and diversified range of products and services in a sustainable manner through modern, digitally enabled channels while never losing sight of our member experience, our cooperative values, and our commitment to the communities we serve."

Our Mission:

Thurles Credit Union's mission is to be a strong, safe, and secure financial institution achieving its vision through ...

1

Providing a full suite of financial services and products for the benefit of our members in an efficient, friendly, and sustainable manner.

2
